Source: Rostec wants to break deal with govt on quantum sensors

MOSCOW, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- Russian state industrial corporation Rostec intends to dissolve an agreement with the government on the development of high-tech direction Quantum Services because the project received no budget financing, a source familiar with the situation told PRIME on Monday.

“It is the corporation’s initiative, which was supported by the government. The agreement was not in fact supported by budget financing,” the source said.

A Rostec representative said that the company intends to continue to develop quantum services under the existing state programs.

The government signed an agreement of intent in 2019 with the largest companies on the progress of some high-tech directions, including Rostec on four directions.
